Legendary veterans and representatives of the younger generation – Morbidfest will be a treasure trove for every fan of old-school extreme metal.
The headliners of the tour will be Possessed. They invented death metal and laid the foundation for the genre’s enduring legacy. Their death metal is, quite literally, possessed and furious to the bone. The band will perform their epoch-making debut Seven Churches in its entirety.
Speaking of pioneers, the butchers from Terrorizer will also take the stage – a groundbreaking name in the history of American deathgrind and grindcore as a whole. The Los Angeles act will bring to Poland a set built around their legendary World Downfall.
More legends? Absolutely – Massacre will remind everyone of the sheer power of old-school Florida death metal. Once apprentices in Death, under their own name they recorded one of the greatest gems of extreme music, From Beyond, which they will perform live from start to finish.
Greek veterans Nightfall have been honing their craft since the early ’90s. They will enchant you with melodic black/death metal enriched with gothic and doom elements.
The lineup will be completed by Ater from Chile, skillfully blending the old with the new – fusing djent, death metal, and progressive touches with the darkness of black metal.
